D-TEC is a well established family business working in the North West. In 2004 the business was bought by the successful wireless telecoms infrastructure company Infratec. After numerous other acquisitions the Buxton Services group was formed and this included Dtec.

Since the business was formed over 30 years
ago it has worked successfully to develop a
reputation for offering a quality job at the right
price. D-TEC employs highly skilled and
experienced personnel.
Here you can find out more about how the
business has developed.

Dtec operates as an entirely separate business unit with its own dedicated workforce ranging from Directors and Project Managers through to Electrical Engineers and Apprentices. Currently we have 3 apprentices in various stages of their 4 year apprenticeship.

The Buxton Services group was sold in April 2007 to Clarke Telecoms and the management team of David Taylor and Martin Kay negotiated a Management Buy Out for Dtec which was completed in September 2007.

Following discussions with P H Jones the successful family owned Plumbing and Heating company based in Cheshire with effect from 1 October 2007 Dtec became part of their group of companies . The combined group has a turnover of in excess of £50m with over 200 employees.

The combination of the experience of Dtec and P H Jones will enable us to provide an Integrated Building Service to our clients for both Electrical and Mechanical services.

At Dtec, our vision is:

To be the best in every aspect of our business to the benefit of our customers, employees and stakeholders. We aim to deliver quality, innovation and total satisfaction.

To achieve this vision we recognise that our people are our most important asset and we encourage all our employees to be ambassadors for the company . This commitment to our employees was recognised in November2 006 when we were awarded the prestigious status of an Investors in People.
